LaShanda Sugg, a certified trauma-responsive therapist, who is also certified in Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy, and trained in the EMDR counseling technique, spoke to us at our October meeting. She led us in an interactive session about reframing our perspective and how to reestablish our peace when anxiety, fears and struggles arise. We also played a few fun games and everyone left with a candle to light on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness day, which is observed on October 15. We’ll see everyone again in December!
